It is not known how deep the water was.
A message posted on Facebook claiming Nathan had bumped his head before hitting the water was later removed.
The boy?s family are said to be ?absolutely distraught and deep in grief?.
A stunned neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: ?It really is terrible.
?It?s such a tragic thing to have
happened to a young boy. We were in the house when we heard all the
emergency services and saw the flashing lights.
?We couldn?t really see anything because it happened in their garden.
?The air ambulance had to land quite far away because of the? electricity cables going over the street.?
