Add Foam Earplugs to Your Eyeglasses for a More Comfortable Fit [Clever Uses]

Add Foam Earplugs to Your Eyeglasses for a More Comfortable FitAs a person new to wearing eyeglasses for more than a few hours, I've noticed they sometimes get a little uncomfortable. If you have some foam earplugs lying around, however, you can easily solve that problem.

Just carefully make an incision on the earplugs with a knife or pair of scissors that cuts at least half-way through (but not all the way. Then you'll be able to slip them on your eyeglasses where the frame rests on your ears. This can be a lot more comfortable than the hard plastic you're used to (although it probably looks pretty weird). If your plugs are too thick, you can always trim them down with a pair of scissors. A more comfortable frame might be in order, but for the occasional soreness that eyeglasses can provide earplugs can provide a nice respite.
