I?ve gotten used to using headphones all of the time when I?m home. It?s just more convenient, and after a while you forget that you have them on, especially for gaming, watching movies, or just listening to music. If you?re thinking about headphones for gaming, Sony just announced an update to their PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset that they?re calling the Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset Elite Edition.
Sony says that these headphones have improved bass rendering technology, and that the bass is supposed to pulse around the earpads of the headset. Sounds intense but I guess that?s what you look for in gaming headphones. They offer virtual 7.1 surround sound, wireless connectivity, preset modes, and a hidden noise-canceling microphone. They will also be compatible with all media players and music players, thanks to the 3.5mm jack.
The Pulse headphones be officially?unveiled?at E3 and be available this fall for $149.99 (USD). The only thing you need to remember with these is not to shout out loud when you frag someone else.
